Amy and Vaughn

We met Amy Alton while on our 1^st visit (since 2014) to Killington Bike Park. She was leading the “Divas of Dirt” ladies group ride, and we got to know her a bit better afterwards, at the après bike happy hour festivities. Fostering a community of passionate female mountain bikers at Killington, Amy is a professional Enduro and Downhill racer, Super D racer, and expert level XC racer. Her extensive experience coaching gravity camps, her long list of high profile race wins, and public speaking skills, make for a powerful and positive influence on anyone who meets her. We instantly wanted to know more!

Things just got even more interesting when we found out that Amy’s “Dude” Vaughn Micciche is a pro trials rider who represented the U.S. at the 2008 World Champs! Vaughn is also a Super D champion, XC champ, and Enduro podium finisher. He’s a race promoter, bike mechanic, mountain biking skills coach, overland vehicle enthusiast, and the list of achievements and interests go on and on. Instantly, we liked Vaughn, his easygoing personality and wit, but below the surface we suspect a genius, a shining quality that we wish we’d have more time to get to know.
