Whistler gets 5 times bigger overnight as the Garbanzo Zone opens for 2014!
Encompassing an area more than five times as big as its little brother, Fitzsimmons Zone, the Garboanzo Zone opens it's trails for the 2014 season today. Originally established in 2004, it raised the bar, literally to 2,700 feet of new vertical, with trails that were higher, steeper and more rugged than the existing Fitz Zone. Whether it's the tangled roots of single track on "In Deep" or "Goat’s Gully" to the berms and jumps of "Freight Train", there are now 22 more trails availavle for shredding at Whistler this weekend!
