Sun Peaks Bike Park is one of the top bike parks in Canada and for very good reason. The park boasts over 2,000 feet of lift-accessed vertical terrain, and features over 29 different trails for riders of all skill levels to get out and shred! One of the great features of Sun Peaks Bike Park is that each season they offer various riding camps and lessons to help those who are new to mountain biking learn how to ride bike park trails more safely.
Beginners can practice their new-found skills on one of the many beginner trails such as the Smooth Smoothie trail, one of the easiest the bike park has to offer, with smooth, gentle terrain where newbies can simply enjoy the ride and the mountain scenery on their way down. A great intermediate trail is the Root Dog trail; a narrow single-track trail with plenty of roots. Riders looking for the big jumps and drops should hit the Steam Shovel trail, designed primarily for those riders who have the skill and experience for the serious stuff.
