Preparations for summer season 2014

The winter season in Špičák ended slightly earlier than usual but in the resort of Špičák there are plenty of summer events to now look forward to, and the preparations for the summer season have already started. The summer operation of the cableway, as well as the bike park opening, is going to start on 31 May 2014. And this summer we'll be putting on a great event - the opening of a lookout tower on the peak of Špičák. For the first time the tourists will have the opportunity to look around at the views from the top of a 26-metre-high lookout tower!

Calender of summer events

31 May Summer Start – the beginning of summer operation and bikepark opening – in the evening Harry Gump concert
14 June Opening Party – a big opening party and an evening concert – the beginning of daily operation. Bands: Lazzy Bastards
18 – 20 July iXS European Downhill Cup – European Cup in downhill mountain biking, world class riders in the only race in the Czech Republic
26 July Lookout tower opening and Day with Lesy ČR – a grand opening of the lookout tower and an active day with Lesy ČR
21 September Specialized Enduro series – one of the nationwide races of the enduro series
