Located in the heart of the French Southern (Hautes)-Alps, Bike Park Orcières overlooks the Champsaur Valley with 300 days of sunshine per year. Ecrins National Park is just next-door with stunning scenery and unspoiled wilderness.
The resort provides charming accommodations with healthy local produce and warm hospitality from down-to-earth locals to guarantee a great experience. Three lifts are open to mountain bikers with the Télémix Drouvet lift topping out at 8,694ft (2650m). The resort base elevation sits at 4,429ft (1350m), which offers riders an impressive 4,265ft (1300m) of vertical descent from the high alpine.
Bike Park Orcières is a full service resort that caters to a mountain biker’s every need including: trails for beginner-to-advanced (8 DH & 5 Enduro), coaching by expert instructors, organized race events, giant Air-Bag to learn jumps & tricks, “North Shore” zone, 2 pump tracks, skills/play area, XC trail network (300mi/500km), free shuttles, and 2 mountain bike schools.
The highlights of the resort are of course, the downhill trails! A progression of fun and challenging features are provided throughout the trail system. Berms, tabletop jumps, teeter-totters, step downs, hip jumps, wall rides, gap jumps, road gaps and even creek gaps are represented on the downhill trails at Orcières Bike Park.
