Epic bike park and home to Fabien Barel!
Les Gets was one of the first European resorts to open up the winter ski lifts to bikers. Host of the 2004 World Downhill Mountain Bike Championships a lot of investment went in to preparing the trails and offering a good selection of trails suitable for all levels. The Les Gets bike park is linked to the massive Portes du Soleil region which means you have over 650kms of trails for both cross country and downhill mountain biking. There have been some big competitions in the area over the last several years like the French MTB nationals, Chatel Mountain Style, UCI world cup in Champery, PassportsduSoleil in Morzine and the World Cup in Les Gets in 2004. With continued investment from the local villages and expert advice on trail designs by local lad and two times world MTB champion Fabien Barel, Les Gets is a brilliant place to spend your hard earn holidays riding some of the best trails in the world.
