FAT BIKING IN THE WINTER

MOUNTAIN BIKING AT THE FOOT OF THE MATTERHORN! Mountain biking in the Cervinia and Valtournenche region is at its best at the dedicated bike parks of the resorts. Take the cable cars in Cervinia town (2,050 m asl) to reach Plan Maison at 2,555 metres above sea level or to Cime Bianche Laghi to reach the incredible altitude of at 2,812 metres! But there's more: the "Dark Trail" starting at the Plateau Rosà glacier at 3,480 m asl, a unique and spectacular location, arriving in Cervinia on a trail of 10 km in length. Attention, this trail will open with the opening of the cable cars to the glacier, please check daily with the Information Office. Also, the cable car in Valtournenche (1,524m) to Salette at 2,245m; diverse trails means bikers can choose between technically challenging trails and easier trails for beginners and families. A mix of downhill and cross country to satisfy all our riders. The bike park has numerous natural features and man-made structures and you can hire bikes and equipment in both Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche. bike wash points at the departures of all 3 cable cars.
