TRAILS: COMMENTS: RATING:
Beginner Trails: Great appeal to the water park punters with the XC offer, and a really good, long green-trail to progress on. However, a bit pedally in places.
Intermediate Trails: Good, but limited options to go from beginner to expert.
Advanced Trails: Some great aflow, big air, and very technical gnar.
Technical trails: Yes they are, and it includes the lower sections of the former UCI World Cup trail.
Flow/jump trails: Trail Bing Bang #7 has great flow, if you want to take it up at notch ride La Zig Zag #52 (#52 is only open on weekends).
Trail variety: Offers a trail of every sort.
Trail Conditions: Good condition even when wet. And we had a LOT of rain! Occasional spots with "baby heads rolling about".
Trail signposting: Good – never a problem.
Other trails in area: All around Mount Brome, with the regional map. But, we didn’t check them out so can’t give it a rating. N/A
PRACTICALITIES: COMMENTS: RATING:
Day Pass Value for money: Good on weekend, but no drop-in price during the week when the number of trails open are reduced and with a slower lift.
Ease of parking to lift: Not as close as some, and arrive later in the day, and it can be already packed with water park visitors.
Lift lines: It does happen, but moves fast.
Quality of rental fleet: Good Rocky Mountain bikes, but needs more kids bikes.
On-site Bike Shop: Not large, but has the essentials.
Lunch options: Resort style café at the base. Other options require a car drive off the resort property.
Water by the lifts (yes/no): At the bottom. Yes
Lockers available (yes/no):   Yes
Camping/RV park (yes/no):   No
VIBE: COMMENTS: RATING:
Staff friendliness: Security take their job seriously at the waterpark!
Family-friendly: Boom – kids could spend weeks in that water park and on the alpine slide.
Restaurants: Not at the resort, but many great options requiring a short drive. Rating reflects the lack of restaurants on the resort proper.
Nightlife: Not that we could find. Likely nightlife off resort property, again requiring a car drive.
Random: Get Poutine! It's a must-try when in Quebec!
