Located 60 km East of Mannheim, Beerfelden Bike Park is a small German park that's definitely worth a stop with its 7 trails of various difficulty. A T-bar lift hauls you up to the trailheads and there's a Kiosk for the occasional break. The season here starts with the Girl Bike Weekend in March and closes with its yearly season Freeride week followed by a DH race on the first weekend in October.
The opening hours are generous for the size of the park with only Monday to Wednesday closed during the peak season. A rental place offers a limited range of Kona bikes and body armor. The perfect place to stop on your road trip through Germany.
