Introduction

At the Eastern end of Lake Geneva, Leysin Bike Park in Switzerland is developing in to a great bike park for riders of all skill levels. There are 3 main areas, the DH trails, the XC trails, and skills area. For the downhillers, there are several trails available of varying difficulty levels. For 2011 a new section of track was created in stark contrast to the rest of the technical single-track trails here, basically providing a big-hit jump trail. It starts with a gap jump of over 2 meters, followed by a double 9 meters long, and several doubles of 4 to 7 meters in length are due to follow. But all these have chicken runs so riders not sure if they can hit the big stuff can roll down to take a look first!
