Ferme Libert

Ferme Libert /
Belgium

Introduction

Ferme Libert Bike Park is located in the heart of the High Fens, just minutes from downtown Malmedy, in the garden of the famous Ferme Libert.  The ski slope of Ferme Libert is known throughout Belgium for over 50 years and has been transformed and fully modulated to be the largest bike park in the Benelux.

The bike park is composed of three downhill trails and a 4X track designed by four-cross specialist UCI rider Phill Saxena, which was used for the Belgian Championships four-cross events in 2008, 2009 and 2010. There is a vertical drop of 110m to the slopes, and trails between 600 and 800 meters long.

Also on the site there are five areas of mountain bike trails designed for the Championships in Belgium in 2010, and a cross-country trail of 4.5km in length. In 2011 a new slope-style track, Dirt jumps and North Shore were added.

The bike park is equipped with all standard amenities, up-lift, bike hire (downhill, freeride & four-cross), car park, bike-wash, toilets with external access to the Ferme Libert restaurant and catering and accommodation available on site.
