BALI BIKE PARK
Located on the Indonesian island of Bali, which is well-known for its 'postcard-perfect' beaches, amazing surf breaks, and forested volcanic mountains, Bali Bike Park is the creation of Alex Springenschmidt. Drawn to Bali for the surfing and having subsequently discovered the huge potential for awesome mountain biking, Alex launched Bali Bike Park in the summer of 2014.
The first of its kind in Indonesia, Bali Bike Park offers riders a ~10 minute jeep/truck shuttle up to the start of the park trails. With tons of features including hip jumps, gap jumps, step ups, step downs, ladder drops, and berms galore, this is a true "#jungle playground"! The trail crew are constantly adding new trail and features.
In addition to the ~150m of vertical descent on the 'bike park' trails, shuttles/tours are also available to access the (APDHC) Asia Pacific Downhill Challenge track that boasts ~250m of DH gnar with steep, heavily rooted, off-camber, fun! And, if all-day Enduro Style riding is your thing, then you can opt for the shuttle up to the 'crater rim Enduro' trail and bomb down ~1500m of single track descent!
We can't think of a better, more idyllic place for a bike park!
