The best way of getting onto the Hochalm Trail is by taking the Reiterkogelbahn lift for the first 500 vertical metres. Then, you ride past the Rosswaldhütte, up towards the Reichkendlkopf, and then along the ridge to the top station of the Spieleck drag lift. Once you have this climb behind you, you are rewarded with a sheer endless downhill ride on a beautifully laid out trail through the picturesque scenery of the Pinzgau mountains.
